From the Medfield Music Association –
Going to the football game tonight? Wreath orders taken to benefit music
This is a festival trip year for more than 150 Medfield High School music students across band, orchestra and concert choir, and Medfield Music Association has launched its annual holiday wreath sale once again to help raise funds for trip scholarships. Many residents and businesses take advantage of the wreath sale to get a jump on their holiday decorating while also supporting Medfield music students.
Wreath sales also benefit Blake Middle School students who participate in the annual Six Flags music festival trip. Both the Blake and MHS trips are in the spring.
Anyone interested in placing an order for holiday wreaths can do so at the Warriors football game tonight, 11/13, at Medfield High School (as well as by mail). The deadline to order wreaths is Friday, Nov. 20. Wreaths are $20 each, and buyers have two bow color options. Wreaths will be delivered to homes and businesses on Saturday, Nov. 28. To obtain an order form, go to the home page of www.medfieldmusicassociation.com or to the school “Thursday packet” at http://www.medfield.net/images/tpacket/mma_annual_wreath_sale.pdf.
For more than 20 years, Medfield High School music ensembles have earned numerous awards from the biennial festival trip in recognition of their outstanding performances. Pending school committee approval, this year the trip destination is Williamsburg/Virginia Beach, with the students slated to leave April 28 and return May 1, 2016.
